Metric Shaft Lock Washers
DIN 5406 Metric Shaft Lock Washers are designed for use with DIN 981 Shaft Nuts. These lock washers a tab on the inside diameter which fits into a slot that is cut into the shaft. The outside diameter of the washer is made up of several teeth once the nut is tightened one of those teeth is then bent into one of the slots on the outside of the nut.
