Oversized O.D. Flat Washer 9021

DIN 9021 Oversized O.D. Metric Flat Washers are round discs with round holes with a large outside diameter that provide a smooth bearing surface when used under the head of a hex head bolt or hex nut. The larger outside diameter helps to spread clamping load created by threaded fasteners over a wider area on the mating surface. These flat washers are often used on soft or thin materials.

DIN 9021 Oversized O.D. Flat Washers are similar to ISO 7093. These washers have an outside diameter that is approximately equal to three times the nominal size (e.g. DIN 9021 M6 has an 18mm outside diameter).
