HSS Jobber Series Twist Drills


Metric & Multistandard carries a large variety of jobber series twist drills, ranging from .25mm(smallest size) up to and including 20mm(largest size). HSS jobber series twist drills are manufactured with high speed steel. Metric HSS jobber series twist drills are right handed with a straight shank, a regular Helix, and a point angle of 118 degrees.

HSS Jobber series drills are the most common type of drill on the market. The twist drills flute lengths range from 9 to 14 times the drill diameter, depending on the drill size. These flute lengths allow for a multitude of drilled whole job functions. 

Metric & Multistandard’s HSS jobber series twist drills also come in a variety of different materials, styles, and uses.  The cobalt jobber drills are made of alloy steel and cobalt.  These drills are designed to withstand extremely high temperatures while drilling.  Carbide jobber drills are extremely hard and can drill virtually any material while holding its cutting edge. Left-hand jobber drills have with flutes that rotate in a counter-clockwise (left-handed) direction. Jobber strength drills for brass also have a 118 degree point angle and come with a smaller helix angle for the softer material. Jobber strength drills for aluminum, comes with a 130 degree point angle and MMCC jobber drills for stainless steel come with a 135 degree point angle.
